Hmm.. I wonder where everyone is. *frowns and looks around* It's been more empty in the house lately. Everyone must be working on different things... but I wonder what.

Tohru stood still, sweatdropping with an unreadable expression on her face at the sight before her.

"OH NOOOOO! THIS IS BAD! THIS IS VERY BAD!" she finally screeched, beginning to run around in all directions, "They said they'd be back in a few hours. That should give me just enough time to clean this place up!"

Tohru smiled confidently, trying to believe in her words. After all, taking care of the household was her job, and burning the kitchen down wasn't exactly what she wanted to do.

"Alright.. now where should I start?"

She blinked, staring blankly as smoke rose from a dish, and bubbling water poured out in all directions from a kettle. The floors were slippery, because of a laundry "malfunction".

That's the last time I'll listen to Kagura.

Tohru sighed slightly, turning off the kettle and getting out a towel. She bent down onto the floor, trying in vain to clean up the mess. For some reason, she couldn't concentrate, and ended up idly wiping at the same spot over and over.

Maybe because I'm so worried about him.. that's probably why I got so distracted.

Lost in her thoughts, she failed to notice the new presence that was now in the kitchen.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS? WHAT DID YOU DO?"

Tohru jumped up at the sound of the voice, and looked over to see a fuming Kyo-kun. She sweatdropped, standing up quickly, but ended up falling because of the slippery floor.

"Anoooo.. I'm sorry, Kyo-kun!" she yelled as she fell down again. She quickly got up again, this time not falling, and ran towards Kyo.

"Gomen, Kyo-kun, I'm fixing it right away! Don't worry! It'll look even better than before," she exclaimed, still sweatdropping and wincing slightly from her fall.

Kyo's angry expression softened and he crossed his arms, looking away from her. "Eh, don't worry about it."

Tohru nodded and smiled happily, and started shooing him out of the kitchen, "Thanks, Kyo-kun, see you later!"

The only thing she heard was Kyo's angry muttering as he was kicked out of the kitchen.

Tohru sighed, dropping down to the floor, and picked the towel back up.

This is going to be a long day..
